Gluten free people here ya go!!!! This place is amazing!! The food was so good and comforting you could just tell everything was made with love! The kind lady serving us was just so sweet and thoughtful and paid attention to every detail! We literally went back the next day for another omelette and gluten free french toast it was that good. Highly recommend!!!!! Thank you so much for the wonderful breakfast !!

Our new breakfast stop on the way up to Mackinaw!!!! Great food and friendly service, due to covid-19 restrictions they delivered our food to our truck in the pouring rain, I thought that is really above and beyond. Really meant a lot not to be stuck eating McBreakfast because of social distancing. Thanks so much!!!

Such a friendly staff, quick service, delicious food & most importantly my coffee cup and water were always full. We were just in town for a little getaway and I'm so glad we stopped here.

Bert's has been a local favorite for many years. It's cozy and family friendly. The menu is made up of classic morning diner items that you customize just the way you like, all served hot and delicious. The best thing about Bert's is that it never changes; there's that pure, small-town, old-fashioned feel every time. The wait for the food can go over an hour, though, so enjoy the bottomless coffee with good company in the meantime!

Disappointed at every juncture. Coffee's horrible. Toast cold. Food ok. Service is odd. Pricing is questionable. Wouldn't recommend. Won't go back.

Great place to visit. Exceptional food and service. One of the friendliest wait staffs we have ever encountered. The only question I have is why didn't we find this place sooner! You will not be disappointed!

This place is the best! Excellent Eggs Benedict and the Hungry Mountain is my new favorite dish! (I think you can get a half order.) The biscuits & gravy are probably the best I’ve had anywhere!

Excellent quality, fast service, cash only. Best hash browns in town! Portion sizes are perfect, coffee is great. Could not stop myself from going back there again and again. A hidden gem that you would miss if you drove by.

I can't say enough good things about this place! I do need to inform readers right away that this is a cash only business. We were greeted cheerfully and seated immediately. The level to which they allow guests to re-pirtiin and customize what they want is unprecedented in my experience. My husband ordered half a hungry mountain and loved it. I ordered a 2 egg southern omelette with a side of half order American fries. Skipped on toast. I really enjoyed my breakfast. It was still big and I think next time I would ask for half the sausage stuffing. Do make this a breakfast stop when in the area.

A wonderful home town breakfast treasure! Excellent service every time. Specializing in customizing your plate just the way you would make it at home. Fast friendly fair price and consistent! Go alone and enjoy others company at the counter for a true home town experience or get some friends and grab a table. Sometimes there is a wait but it's always worth it!

Forst no one answered when we called multiple times to see if we could place a to go order. When we got there they said it's the cooks choice because everything is homemade. we asked for French toast and scrambled eggs... said 1 hour for a to go order. No thank you. If I sat down would it be an hour as well? The place is tiny and was half full... Maybe get another cook for Saturdays mornings. old man was kind.. Homemade sounds good but waiting an hour? Went across the street to full circle cafe.

It is disgusting that they would switch all the cups to single use styrofoam for some convenience. How wasteful.

Had an omelette, it was great. Excellent food and service. Side note, the hash browns are perfectly crispy.

Great food, great service, portion options, BUT if you go alone expect to sit at the counter! That’s not how I want to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. I’ve taken the counter twice now, but no more. Today they had a “big group” expected so again I was offered the counter, there were booths and tables open. I said no thank you and left. I live 5 minutes away, I prefer them over any other place for breakfast. But I won’t stay if they won’t offer me a table or booth.

Berts is great! I got the McBert sandwich, a waffle and cinnamon toast, and it was all delicious and fairly priced! You can even get smaller portions or pay a small amount more for extra. The staff was super nice and they make you feel like you are visiting family you actually like! Coffee was filled at the moment I needed it! Definitely worth your time to drop by!

I can't say enough great things about this little gem of a place. I love eating here. The atmosphere is so cozy, the staff (family owned) are extremely friendly and inviting and don't even get me started on the food. Absolutely delicious! 5 stars without a doubt.
